Beginners Run Club

If you are new to running, or are a bit nervous of running with other people, these run groups are for you. Each session includes short spells of running interspersed with walking breaks so you can gradually build up your fitness. How much running you do is up to you, as we find a good starting point for you and build from there. We run in short loops so no one is left behind or lost, and in the winter months we do the same, only in a area that is lit.

My sessions can help you run from scratch to 5K if that is something that you want to achieve, or maybe you just want general fitness and to make some new friends, either way my groups have it all, and I have had many who started at my Beginners groups move up to my more experienced groups when they felt the time was right.

The session begins with a warm up before an explanation of what we are going to be doing for the main workout. The focus is on you and your fitness, and I am always up for a chat if you have any questions.
